Denver Zoo!Last week Whitney, Aunt Becca and I went to Denver for two appointments for Whitney. We stayed with Lisa and had a great time. We went to the Zoo, Whitney loved it, and she got to pick a stuffed animal to take home.
We got to meet Anne, she took care of Whitney while she was in the NICU for six weeks after birth. We wanted to show Anne that Whitney is doing great now and that she will be forever loved and taken care of. We shared some stories and it was so nice to get to meet her.
Whitney's appts went well. We have a plan to help her gain weight and have a big support system at Children's hospital now. Her GI doctor was happy with her progress and prescribed some vitamins and other meds to help Whitney gain weight. We are also going to get more help at home having OT and Speech come by several times a month.
