CELEBRATE!!!

Today we got the call that the Indian Tribe does NOT want Drake!!!

We have been on pins and needles waiting for that call!! The next step is that on February 16th the birth parents are scheduled to relinquish. We know that they will so now all we have to do is wait out the six month waiting period that Nebraska requires. So some time this summer, Drake will be all ours!! This has been weighing heavily on Bert and I since the day we found out he was eligible to be enrolled with the tribe. We are so thankful they are doing the right thing and letting Drake be raised with Whitney. Our hearts are a lot lighter today, PRAISE GOD! I cannot believe how lucky we are, knowing that he could have been taken was really hard for us, and now we couldn't be happier!! Our hearts are so full!!!

We will see EVERYONE for the adoption and party to celebrate this SUMMER!!!
